Client Relations Prospecting Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Client Relations Prospecting Specialist is a key role within our sales team.  The selected individual will work as a teammate with the Head of our Firm as a  fanatical prospector,  identifying client opportunities, work through the Advent sales process and maintaining customer relationships.  We need rock stars who are motivated self-starters.  This key position is the team member driving the Client Relations prospecting process.

You must be a strong communicator (written and verbal), have strong relational skills, have a track record of drive and performance, demonstrate an attention to detail, exhibit a commitment to follow-up and follow through, and have experienced measurable success individually and on a team. 

Responsibilities:

On-going support

  • Be a radical prospector using market information and data to drive sales leads for our Client Relations team to explore and land.
  • Conduct prospect research (upcoming projects, staffing changes, and promotional initiatives)

    Provide administrative support to ensure follow up with prospects and clients

  • Initiate prospecting efforts (direct mail, email, and promotional material)

  • Set up appointments, phone calls, video conferencing and in-person meetings

  • Manage due dates/times for all current and prospective projects

  • Create proposals, review with internal team, and drive the proposal process for your customers

  • Schedule pre-meeting travel and appointment details; i.e., address, logistics and technology

  • Assist in other administrative, client relationship and lead generation tasks as assigned

  • Be curious and find ways to improve processes and grow sales opportunities

  • Be comfortable wearing many hats on the Client Relations team.

  • Be creative in finding solutions and creating opportunities to grow the business


Project by project

  • Enter all contract information in CRM Software (keep profile and contact information current)

  • Update sales forecast weekly

  • Add all opportunities and new projects to our project system

  • Upload all contracts, site surveys, photographs and documents related to new projects

  • Schedule download meetings

  • Help type notes, organize images, and add materials in preparation for download meeting

  • Help offer follow up and provide excellent service

  • Reaching, standing, walking, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing and repetitive motions.

  • Primarily office-based work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, sits or stands

  • Close visual acuity to perform activities at distances close to the eye

  • Subject to activities that occur inside and outside, heat and noise

  • When working in the office, not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions

  • Position will be Nashville, TN based
